So the scheduling at my school has a lot of problems and my problem is that I signed up to take AP Spanish, AP Physics B, and AP Calculus BC but they are all during lunch periods and since I'm not allowed to skip lunch, I am being FORCED to drop one of them :(
I want to major in some type of science and I'm shooting for really competitive schools like HYP, how would they feel about not taking a language course senior year? I've heard that it's really important to take language all 4 years so I don't really know what to do because I really really don't want to drop the other two.

I also want to know this. Should one always shoot for 4 years of Language, at the expense of other subjects one might enjoy?

Ask you counselor. Perhaps they will let you eat lunch during Spanish in class or something..

If it were me, I'd drop the one you like the least (sounds like Spanish here). Remember, a college isn't going to look at your application and say, "They didn't take AP Spanish -instant reject."

If you really want to take those courses, I'd suggest taking AP Calc AB rather than BC if it's offered at a different time.

ugh see i already took ap calc ab and i'm not allowed to eat lunch in any class periods. wow this totally sucks lol
any more advice?

If you're ready to take AP Spanish, you've already had 4 years of Spanish. It's the 4 years that's important, not that you have it each year in HS.

Perhaps drop BC for lunch and take BC through an online provider?
