Problem Sets Where?

Hey, I was just wondering where I could download some Caltech problem sets. I remember someone mentioning a website earlier where they were available, but I can't seem to find it right now. I would just use the MIT problem sets but Ben Golub mentioned that MIT's curriculum was easier than Caltech's, so I'm 'disinclined' to use them.

Just go to the Caltech website and search for the specific class. Problem sets for some classes are on their website.

I don't think Ben ever said that the curriculum at MIT was easier. He might have said the core requirements were easier--MIT students don't have to take quantum mechanics to get a degree.

We have several different versions of the intro math/physics classes, the most important being the regular and theoretical versions. 8.012/8.022 are the two physics classes that are super-theoretical, and they use the Kolenkow and Purcell textbooks, respectively. 18.014 and 18.024 are the versions of calculus where you prove everything rigorously. I think these are less useful than 8.012/8.022, though.

(The regular versions of physics and calculus are 8.01/8.02 and 18.01/18.02, respectively.)
