This sounds really strange, but I was in the shower when the interviewer for Yale called. As usual, my oblivious parents picked up and were completely unaware of the situation. As I threw on my clothes asap and picked up the phone, I set up the interview in a flustered manner. However, I was unable to get the address down and I do not have this person's phone number or e-mail. Is there a way I may contact my alumni interviewer? For example, can Yale the website show me the person's name, and contacting info? I feel completely screwed as I cannot call my interviewer.

Can you call your phone company and request a dailled/received summary of the numbers going through your phone?

Happened to me. I had caller ID, but I never called the guy back. Met him at Starbucks, apologized, and asked for his email. :o

It wasn’t for Yale btw

Thanks for the tips. I don’t have caller ID, and I tried calling the phone company. Apparently, there’s no way for them to find the phone #.
If I call the Yale admissions office would I be able to obtain the info?

They emailed me after speaking on the phone. I was just at mine (got home right now), it went very very good, she was really digging everything I do.

You should if you have her name, I suppose. Did you guys at least set up a time and place?

If you have the name - you may be able to contact admissions and get passed on to an alumni committee/club. Or if her name is unusual - some googlestalking might work.

I think I am thoroughly screwed and unless she contacts me again, I’ll have to choose not to do the interview. I know the time, partially the address, and that’s it. She hung up before I was able to ask her to clarify or give her own contact info. Hopefully, she’ll e-mail me or call me as a confirmation a few days before the interview. Otherwise…

Call Yale and ask them about your interviewer. I’m sure they have that information. Just explain the situation to them.

P.S. When I saw your username, I was like “Wait, why did I write this thread?” and then I realized that you are just freakishly similar to me :)

I’ll call the office tomorrow and see what happens. Thanks for all the tips guys! I really appreciate it.

you need to find out who is the director of the Alumni School Committee in your area - that person will have the interviewer information

I was going to post a suggestion but it seems like everyone has got it covered :] Good luck!!!
