Problem with CAQ (Urgent)

<p>Guys, I’m in deep trouble. I’m going to Mcgill this fall 2005, however, there is a problem with my CAQ application and I urgently need answers to these:</p>

<li><p>How long does it really take to produce CAQ? (I’m Indonesian)</p></li>
<li><p>How do I contact the Quebec Immigration besides the phone number (514)8649191? I would think that alternatives would be an email address or a phone number that directs me to a customer service officer (and not machine). I’ve tried calling the above number and it’s so hard to reach an officer (or maybe I havent tried hard enough?)</p></li>
</ol>

<p>Here is the deal, I sent my CAQ application package long ago in April 2005, and in June, I received a letter from Quebec Immigration saying that they accepted everything in the package except for a bank draft (and thus CAQ cannot be processed). I was dumbfounded as I am certain I have put a bank draft in the package. So, I sent another bank draft and it was received by the immigration on July 11, 2005. I have been trying to check with the immigration ever since whether they have received it (and thus the making of CAQ continues) or not. I’m so anxious now as time is really running out (23rd aug orientation). </p>

<p>Maybe you could search online for the contacts of the Canadian Embassy/Consulate in your country- call them up and ask them how best you can reach Quebec Immigration after that. It should be easier to get in touch with someone that way. Best of luck!</p>

<p>applying from asia is sucha hassle >_<</p>

<p>oh and be careful with your flight plan. i'm not sure about indonesians specifically, but i know that the transit visas for usa have been suspended and etc so flying through the states now is just another hassle.</p>
