problem with paper app

for some reason, i am leery of submitting apps online...i don't want them to get lost in cyberspace, plus i tend to be long-winded and i think all my essays/descriptions would be cut off. so i am submitting paper apps everywhere...which hasn't been a problem at all, until i got to notre dame's. i filled out the online app, intending to just print it (like you can for the common app), but it is in a bizarre format that i don't think notre dame would want to receive in the mail (considering the format is drastically different than that of the paper app they actually send home).

i guess this is a really roundabout way of asking two main questions:
1. is there a way to print out a nicer-looking version of the app?
and
2. if not, will notre dame really look down on a handwritten application?

I don't think they would look down on it (I actually hand wrote my application the first time around...then again look how it turned out...I doubt there was a correlation though) but I really would recommend you do the online application. They are very good (I did it the second time around) and it is getting to the point where most places prefer it just because it makes their life easier. It is up to you, but I would just do the online! I really don't think it will limit you or cut you off.
