Problem with REAPPLYING for F1 Visa??

I went to the States last fall for college on an F1 Visa. Due to a family emergency I had to return to my home country. Before leaving I informed my college about my situation and they canceled the I-20 and told me everything would be fine since I notified them prior to leaving the country.

Now I am reapplying for next Fall but to different colleges. I was wondering if it would be more difficult applying the second time. I had a completely legitimate reason to leave and did everything according to law.

Now I know that it all comes down to what the officer thinks during my interview but I was wondering if anyone on here more knowledgable knows about a law which prohibits the reissuing of F-1 visas?

Thanks in advance to those who reply as this would take an enormous amount of weight off my shoulders. :)

i wud rather sugest u go in to a US immigration officer or consulate or consultant.. .. that wud give in proper legitimate reply

I see, but does anyone on here know of a law or previous instances where this has happened?
