So i mailed the rec letter a while ago, but then i realized that i had not put enough postage on ! (39 instead of 41 cents!)...now the letter, however, has not yet been returned so either it made it to yale or its lost! should i just send another one in case...or is that asking for confusion...pleaaaase i need help.!!!!

Won't it just mean that they will charge Yale for two cents?

Calm down. Contact the admissions office and inquire if the letter has appeared. Otherwise, send a duplicate.

I second this. I don't think it's a big deal if you just calmly ask them about your concern.

I guess mine would be a stupid question. But hey, I thought your teachers will post the letters, not you. Ain't you allowed to view the letters?

Pls sb clarify this point to me. I'm an int'l student.Thank you!

Usually, teachers do post the letters, and you give them stamped addressed envelopes for it. they may show it to you, but many don't. don't know about the OP, though

yea i gave a stamped envelope to the teacher..but made a little mistake! so i sent a duplicate today becasue the admissions office cant give out that info until i have my pin number.

better safe than sorry i guess.

Thank you. It makes sense to me now.
