My SSA status said No Match because I put in incorrect information. I have called both the Federal Student Customer Support, and my calls were never received by the SSA hotline. Why can’t I simply change/update my incorrect information? I can’t even create a new FSA ID with other email accounts because it says the FSA is already linked to an existing FSA ID.
You can file it again with the correct information. I had to do mine and one of my daughter’s three times each last year. She has a double first name and I thought that was the problem but actually her SSN was typed in wrong and I couldn’t find the error because after you put it in it is ***** out. I decided the best way to find the error was to delete everything and re-enter it all. Worked. For mine, I’d reverse the numbers on my date of birth. Again, missed it on the second correction too.
