Hi everyone--I am currently facing a dilemma regarding my common app teacher recommendation forms.

A few weeks ago, I sent my teacher an envelope with all of the required materials such as pre-addressed and stamped envelopes, my resume, my cover sheet, etc. (she doesn't teach anymore and she preferred to mail the recommendations in). On the form itself, I checked the statement saying that I waive my right to access/read these recommendations.

My teacher sent all of the materials in, and today, I received an envelope from her that contained a copy of the recommendation because she told me she still wanted me to see what she had written. This is my favorite teacher and I knew she would write me a strong recommendation, which she did.

However, on the "ratings" portion of the form, I don't know if it was because she happened to accidentally overlook it or missed it or was in a rush, but she forgot to check anything under two of the categories for me (there are 15 categories total).

I am currently worrying over this--she told me she had already sent all of the forms, and I am not sure what to do. Will colleges look down upon this since some hold teacher recommendations to a very great value? I am applying to some pretty selective schools (Dartmouth, Princeton, UPenn, etc.) and I do not want to lower my chances in any way. Will they excuse this error on the teacher's part? Or would I have to get my teacher to somehow contact these colleges and clarify those two sections?

Any advice would be very much appreciated.
