So I switched schools from Connecticut to Greece after my sophomore year. I just found out today that my school in Greece, instead of sending my actual grades for my two years in Connecticut, just listed "passed" for all of my classes.
I got an email from William and Mary yesterday telling me that they needed my actual grades to assess my application, so I had my guidance counselor mail them.
My question is--what should I do about my other schools? Should I mail them my grades too? I asked my guidance counselor and she said not to do anything, but she doesn't always seem to be on top of things, so I thought I'd get some other opinions...should I just wait and see if the other schools email me or just email the grades to all of them?
Thanks!!

I think most other schools will want to see the grades. I would ask for them to be mailed to all of the schools.

Yeah, that’s what I figured. I was eager to accept what my GC said because my grades have been much better since I moved ^^

Mail them.

I asked my GC again what to do and she said that it’s the school policy not to send the actual grades unless the University directly asks for them.

Will having only “pass” on my transcript for half of my high school affect admissions? They do have my cumulative GPA.
I had already applied to Bowdoin ED (and was deferred), and I’m assuming that they had this same transcript, but never said anything about it.

The school that should have sent your actual grades would be the original high school, not the current one. Call them and ask what you need to do so that they send them.
