I am an international undergraduate student at Imperial College London and I have two years of my physics course. I have one year left before I finish my bachelors course. But due to an unforeseen problem, my parents can't fund my studies any longer. I have no other imaginable source to pay my tuition fees for the upcoming year. I am not sure what I should do. Please understand that this is a really serious issue, so I'd be glad if you guys could offer some advice.

Can you (or your family) get a loan?

Where from?

A bank?

(10 char)

Where are you from? Are you an EU/EAA student ?

Actually I am from Bangladesh. So, I am not really sure if any bank in this underdeveloped country would be willing to loan out 20,000 pounds to a student. :-(

Have you posted in The Student Room? It’s the UK version of the College Confidential forums and they might be able to help you better than us. This forum focuses mostly on US universities.

There are banks that will do that. All you have to do is put up some collateral and be ready for vivisection in collection of necessary biological material for financial reasons.
