Hey guys, can you please tell me some good sat books to increase my writting and CR score. I am pretty good in math. I get around 700in math, but i want to increase my reading and writting score to 600. Is there any books or materials that can increase my score to 500 to 600 in reading and writting. Thank you in advance

I don’t know about writing but for CR i suggest you go to the library and read some difficult stories. Difficult literary and historical fiction/nonfiction stories and even some scientific books are very good for CR because by reading them until you take the test, you are conditioning your mind to get used to the complexities of the CR passages and able to respond to the question more easily. While you’re reading the difficult books, annotate. Don’t annotate like high school annotating but annotate for difficult vocab words you don’t know (and try applying those words into your sentences during the day at least 7 times to get it stuck in your brain) and quickly summarize each chapter. This improved my CR score by approximately 100 points if you compare my first/worst and my best.
Examples: Plato’s Republic, Steinbeck’s Grapes of Wrath and Lord of the Flies, The Last of the Mohicans by Cooper, and so forth.

The BB is good for the general information of SAT (and apparently it is what every SAT studier should buy). The BB is the Official SAT study Guide by Collegeboard. The blue book.

Try Barron’s writing workbook. Helped me a lot.

I have barrons SAT is there any difference between that and barrons writting workbook
Thank you

^The Barron’s Writing Workbook is completely different from the Barron’s SAT book. The Workbook is much more thorough at covering grammar concepts, and the workbook presents different practice problems.

For writing, the thread “How to write a 12 essay in just 10 days” is very helpful on the essay. Definitely use that, since a good essay can boost your score a decent amount.

Thanks guys!
