Ok i just got an email from Umich and they said that I need my school reports from two schools in Korea i went to. However, they don't have anything called school report. My GC will explain the situation in Korea but I don't have a school report. What am i to do? THIS IS REALLY URGENT!

I would call the admissions office and find out what information and data they want IN a school report. Focus on the information content, not report title.

Whatever UMich wants out of a school report, you should be able to get, regardless of what it is called.

well i'm in the US right now. Also Korean high schools don't really carry that stuff. I contacted them so hopefully i'll get some feedback. thnx

"Also Korean high schools don't really carry that stuff."

What stuff? Do you even know what UMich is looking for?

FYI, you would not be the first applicant to UMich who received part of your education overseas. I think you'll be surprised at how accomodating UMich can be, but you've got to give them a chance. Pre-judging the situaiton won't get you anywhere.

well i think it's just like one of those school report thingies they have on the application. I will contact my korean schools at night(since that's when it is morning there). Ok thanks. I was just really worried. I thought i was getting rejected just because of that. Now i'm a bit calmer.
thnx

Hey imiracle,

No, you won't get rejected because of that problem. There are tons of people here that are internationals so I'm sure that they've dealt with similar problems in the past. They'll know how to help you and should get back to you in a timely manner. Give them a few days though. Also, if that doesn't work in the end and you need a specific e-mail for someone in the admissions office, I have one. PM me if you need it.
