Problem!!

How do these look. How much of a difference is there?

All A's in hardest courses with two B in freshman year, one first and one second

All A's in hardest courses

All A's in hardest courses with two b's junior year

I know 2 is best, then 1, then three

but how much of a difference is there in between them?

How much do colleges really discount freshman year

for like Upenn level?

northwester?

Well, I know Stanford (perhaps you may consider it UPenn level) claims they don’t consider freshman year at all. But it’s still on the transcipt so they (all adcoms) still see it. I don’t think one or two Bs will make or break you. But you will need go SATs and recs and essays to help make up for a couple of Bs, if that’s the case.

what’s the problem?!?!

A lot of colleges disregard freshman year grades.

But what’s going to matter with these versions is a) which courses you got the B’s in and b) how much your rank is affected.

no class rank!

:)

Is that because your school’s pretty difficult? Basically what rank does is give colleges a sense of where you stand in relation to your peers. A B at your school could be val or as far down the picking order as top quarter. It’s relative.

Yea im in the 2nd or 3rd best public school in IL

And its open enrollment.
Thats why no class rank
