I am extremely frustrated/annoyed/ed off at one of my teachers right now. I don't want to go into detail, but she basically was a complete b to me at the end of the year.

Any good stories about problematic teachers?

I had a ‘teacher’ who was constantly argumentative, completely inflexible, and extremely childish who often pouted, went on temper tantrums, and insulted people with sarcasm. In fact, he made racist remarks and even threw an object at a student, but he still isn’t fired, all thanks to tenure.

I had a teacher freshman year who had no idea what the hell she was teaching. It was freshman physics, she was extremely nice, but just plain dumb. We had the AP Physics teacher come in basically every single class to teach us–and her–the most basic things. Like which direction the vectors go when you draw them.

Also, everyone was super annoyed at our English teacher this year for weighting participation abnormally high, taking off points if you gave her “bad vibes”, saying she knew what she was doing because she got a master’s degree from a top 15 school, pointing out grammar “mistakes” that were actually correct, and just being plain … stupid. One kid made her cry in class, once, because he said that she didn’t teach him anything. I think that’s true, given that I got a B in the class but write better than 99% of the class. ffs, people got high A’s in her class and their essay averages were several percentage points lower than mine.
