<p>My daughter is at Cornell, and intermittently she loses the internet. Vista says the problem is "No DNS Server". I don't know if the problem is her new laptop, or ResNet. I am trying to find out if others are experiencing this problem in order to determine if the problem is with her laptop, or Cornell. I have done some research on the internet that indicates that the problem may be with Vista.</p>
<p>Wouldn't surprise me....my dad just bought a laptop with Vista (against my recommendation) and he can't connect to our internet at home.</p>
<p>Anyway....if your daughter hasn't been able to correct the problem...the CIT folks are very helpful...more so in person than over the phone.</p>
