I submitted my SLR and was identified as an AB540 student, but I am a legal U.S. Citizen and have always been. My parents are both undocumented and I am wondering if that is why?? I don’t think there would be a reason that they would affect it, but I’m freaking out and it’s a weekend so the offices are closed.

Also, I read your previous post about too much debt.
Have you considered community college for 2 yrs and transferring into a UC. This way your 1st 2 yrs would be free w/a 0 EFC and you would only have 16K of loans instead of 32K (you may take longer than 4 yrs to graduate–more $$). There is still time to enroll in a CC, this might be the way to go, especially with your current major (no guarantee of job right away after graduation).
