Let keep it short, 2 questions:

I got accepted into PENN’s SEAS, but the acceptance letter only informed me that I got accepted, but no where in it mentioned which program will I go to. So, how can we be known which prog. we belong to? Or are we starting to pick major once we got matriculated? (Unlike Cornell and JHU, which already announced that I will be enrolled under biomedical prog. once I decided to go there.)

Is anyone here doubling Wharton with engineering? When can you apply for dual degree (not accepted to Jerome Fisher in the first place)? At the end of freshman year or beginning of the freshman year?

Thanks in advance, hope see you all in penn this sept., even though still undecided where to go yet…wish the best for u all!!!

or rather doubling engineering with wharton, b/c I am kinda like engineering side better, but still want to enter the business world with my technical skill...

there are other threads about this, search for dual degree and jerome fisher. you can transfer at multiple times, and i think the first time is the end of your freshmen year. I know you need an incredibly high gpa to transfer into jerome fisher (at least a 3.9 to have a good chance of transferring) and a fairly high gpa to be accepted for a dual degree with wharton (around 3.6 or 3.7 to be safe). Im also pretty sure that you need to take econ 1 and econ 2 your freshman year, which seems like it might be difficult to do.

Another question:

When doing dual program, do I have to pay two set of tuition, one for engineering and one for wharton? or just one? and any Extra fee?

thanx

im not sure about the answer to this, but i know you dont have to pay two sets of tuition, and highly doubt you need to pay any extra fee at all.
