<p>The FAFSA website says it was process on February 2, 2010. I submitted it a little before midnight on 02/01/10. However I've received word from my colleges that some of my colleges haven't received my FAFSA forms! Also, my EFC isn't calculated! IS that normal? My CSS/Profile told me it right away! </p>

<p>I think you’re a little confused. The CSS Profile does not generate an “EFC” – all it does is submit your financial information to the colleges you selected. They will figure out what they believe your contribution should be according to their own formula and will not necessarily all come to the same figure.</p>
<p>Not sure what’s going on with your FAFSA. Did you go online to the FAFSA site yourself to check on the status of it? Do that first. If you’re still confused, call the FAFSA help line.</p>
<p>Wow … mayb you’re right. I think I got it confused and with a calculator I ran to figure out my EFC.</p>
<p>But yea just double checked the FAFSA website, under the box labeled: Expected Family Contribution, it just says “Not Calculated.”</p>
<p>just submit your FAFSA as soon as possible. If you did mistakenly only use a calculator versus filing the real thing its fine, just send your stuff ASAP.</p>
<p>Also check maybe there was some errors with your #SS, name, or something that would of messed up locating your application.</p>
<p>And while you’re at it… make sure you’ve actually submitted the CSS Profile. When it is successfully submitted it will tell you, but it will also send you an email confirming submission. Just doing an online calculator isn’t going to get either the FAFSA or the CSS Profile submitted.</p>
