Do I have a shot?

University of Washington
Cal Poly San Luis Obispo
Northwestern
Emory
Boston U
University of Michigan

Uw is a match
northwestern: match
cal poly: match
as for the other ones i dont have that much knowledge on those schools
u should probably take a science or math sat II exam. So college think u are a well rounded student that enjoys both math/science and hist/lit

bumppppppppp

University of Washington-match
Cal Poly San Luis Obispo-safety
Northwestern-reach
Emory- reach
Boston U-match
University of Michigan-low reach

No way an Asian is a match for NU with those stats. That ACT ranks in the bottom 25% of accepted NU students and that GPA would be somewhere close to that. Also I believe NU requires 3 SAT II scores, I may be wrong but double check. The only chance you have at NU is to get that ACT to at least a 33 and get a 4.0 this semester. Your ECs aren’t amazing and to be honest, if you’re an Indian or East Asian, that essay will almost be stereotypical. Same with Emory, you are going to need to improve your stats to have a good shot there. As for Michigan, if you do very well this semester, you will probably get in, however OOS is much tougher now at Michigan than previously because of the switch to the commonapp. You probably would have been a match in you applied in 2009-2010. The other three schools you shouldn’t even have to worry about, you’re fine.

^ Hahaha I know man

I have good ec’s just don’t want to give away my identity, but stats wise I was just looking if I should even bother to apply.

I have a 4.0 this semester, I’m still waiting for the third SAT II score to arrive.

Essay wise, I should change my topic probably. But I grew up in a small muslim area in a 99% christian country, needless to say it was interesting

bumpppp 10char
