Procrastinating.

So I have a serious problem. I just spent 7 hours watching every episode of Heroes online instead of working on my applications. Anyone else have that sort of problem?

haha, I just finished watching a some foreign movies w/ my sister who’s back from college…..done nothing college app related in the last three days…..i know I will be yelling at my self on Sunday, but hey, I know that I will get it in…..being hooked to the forums doesn't help either :)

^ well, UChicago has won more nobel prizes for economics, but that doesn't necessarily make it better. the princeton name will probably take you further but i'm not sure which has the best department.

lol, i am the queen of procrastination. i have like 3 more essays to write and i have to fill in all the apps. all this for some time out on the town.

btw, heroes is good but addictive. lol, it helps that there's a winter hiatus. ;) :D

I finally got around to watching it yesterday. And NBC has ever episode online. And BTW, you answered a question for another thread.

yeah, i noticed kinda late and was too lazy to edit. :P

haha.... lenni you kind of freaked me out...i was thinking how did she know that i was applying to U chicago and was in the RD pool at princeton...and that i liked economics? i thought, huh must be my captivating :) posts on the p-ton boards., but now it is mundane coincidence that is the culprit.

I am the worst. I still haven't even started the Princeton app! Well...I have been reading it over and over again since August, so I pretty much know it by heart now...anyway.

I got Grey's Anatomy Seasons One and Two on DVD for Christmas and it is so addicting. I have been spending way too much time with the doctors at Seattle Grace Hospital and not NEARLY enough time on the Princeton app.

Well, I do take long breaks for CC.

Then i am the king- Gotta write 5 Essays till 1st. And i am not counting those small ones.

The entry for September 8 in my LiveJournal:

Let's just say I've yet to learn from my mistakes.

yeah, so I have four more applications to finish :) and I can't work on them tomorrow because I'm working on the Rose Floats, so I'll be doing them last minute... like all the other ones :) I swear I'm usually not a procrastinator, but when I add more stuff on to my already crazy schedule, it gets pretty bad....lol

Don't even get me started on the Extended Essays...yikes. Mine was assigned to me in March. After changing my topic (and having to get it approved) about eight times, I finally SORT of settled on something.

The complete first draft of the paper (4000 words) was due on September 15th. I hadn't started on September 14, so I skipped school to do it and cranked out about a 1000 words before I gave up. The next day (I wasn't going to go to school on Friday anyway because of this cool music festival with about 100 bands) I woke up at 6 A.M., rewrote the first 1000 words of the paper, wrote until I had 3997 words, ran to school, turned it in, and then went off to my concert.

And my teachers LOVED it.
But it was incredibly stressful, especially because my really kind guy friends decided that they would call me 63 times (literally) on Thursday from their cell phones at school to break my concentration.

I've got a bunch of essays to finish up for 6 colleges (the Johns Hopkins essays are terrible!), but CC and NUMB3RS take up most of my time :P

I have 6 apps that I have yet to turn in. I need to write 10 essays, some of which can be reused. But still. I'm screwed. I'll probably end up dropping a few apps, which is probably a good thing.

I finished my Princeton essay about two hours ago. Drat you, Doctor Who and Numb3rs and Supernatural and -- well, you get the general idea. :D

at least im done with apps...but now im freaking out about finals in 5 days...especially my calc final, on which i need to get a A to get an A in the class......and the final is traditionally impossible, and yes, i need all As this semester to have a fighting chance RD at pton (or any other school for that matter). not to mention i havent even opened a book for any of my other subjects....so i'd say its about time for some more Greys Anatomy on DVD....and then theres the 3rd season all stored in tivo!! yes, procrastinate i shall!

Seriously between CC and Grey's Anatomy I don't know how ANYBODY gets any work done. I have 8 applications to do within the next 3 days...but right now I am going to go have a nice lunch and watch some Grey's to calm myself down.

I'm sure in three hours I will still be calming via Grey's and food.

I'm done with my apps now...kinda.
Well except for the Rice one, but I think I can manage to use another essay for that.
And my Plan II essay.
So well...not really.
But all this talk about Grey's Anatomy made me go out and buy the two seasons right now haha.
I guess I know what I'll be doing my last 4 days of before school starts ;]

Ahhh omz I haven't done my Plan II essay either. Probably because I don't want to admit to myself that I might actually end up at UT. Aslkjdfadfa.

But it's not due until February 1. So technically...we could just not even do it now. And wait, until January 31. Haha.

haha that's probably what I'll do.
But I'm scared that a lot of the spots will be taken up because I already know so many people who have made it into Plan II.
Right now, I've been accepted to Biomed Engineering, which I do not want to be in.

Not gonna lie, I don't like Grey's Anatomy. It's basically an un-funny version of Scrubs, which is much more entertaining.
