<p>This is the third of four e-mail messages you are being sent as part of the online application process at New York University. Your application has been received by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. After your application is checked for accuracy and initial processing is completed we will e-mail you a fourth and final confirmation with additional information including your assigned University Identification Number. You will want to make note of this ID number and include it in all future communications with our office.</p>

<p>Our office receives a large number of applications and it may be up to two weeks before you receive the final application e-mail. If you do not receive this e-mail after three weeks please contact our office at 212/998-4500.</p>

<p>Please remember that in addition to the application there are a variety of supporting credentials that are also necessary for our office to receive to insure that you receive a thorough application review. We encourage you to make sure that this information is submitted to our office in a timely manner.</p>

<p>wait what?!? I didnt get a confirmation e-mail. did you apply using the common app?</p>

<p>I didn't receive any confirmation. Uh Oh..</p>

<p>Hmm, I applied with the CommonApp and I didn't get a confirmation either, though I see that they've downloaded the application. and the supplement.</p>

<p>I applied using their application and received the confirmation at EXACTLY the same time I received the "Submission Confirmed" email, both timestamped at 11:50pm.</p>

<p>I applied like 2 hours before the deadline also hahah</p>

<p>If you use their app you get a quick confirmation. I got all 4 emails within 24 hours.</p>

<p>i also received no confirmation for the common app- i dont think you'll get one till tue (after holiday)</p>

<p>Yea, I may have gotten a quick confirmation... but what's bothering me now is that I submitted it at 11:50 central time, their application has it timestamped as 12:50 eastern... that means its technically past the deadline.</p>

<p>Anyone know how this might affect me? (My supplemental forms have already been sent)</p>

theres another thread where someone sent in their app on 1/16 due to the west/east coast time difference
