Procrastination........help!

I have an essay due midnight tonight and I haven't even started.

haha. i dont have anything to do.

gotta love NJ's standardized testings.

and all I'm doing in class tomorrow is making s'mores in chemistry.

finishing my homework at school really does help me. but to actually finish at school, i have to isolate myself from my friends, cause if im with them, i usually break into conversation and we start fooling around like crazy.

at home all i do is talk to friends on the phone, listen to music, or talk to friends. hahha so try doing your homework at school. it really helps if one of your teachers is the type that doesnt notice when you're doing your homework during class ... gosh i love those teachers.

they rock.

I promise, I'll do it tomorrow. Definitely. ---oh well.....!!!!

NOw, u guys, I'm recently pretty much working w/ procrastination myself. Till now, I've done a pretty good time to keep myself 'concentrated' and all. I'm trying to come up w/ some good tips on how to avoid procrastination which I will soon share(now, that ain't a promise anyway! :D :D)

A good way to get homework done at school is to have no friends. Works for me. No one talks to me all day except to say "How do you do this?" or "W.tf?! You aren't even paying attention!"

until this year I always used to do hw in class.
This year, though, the only classes I can do hw in are APUSH and French, both of which are in the morning. This is annoying because in order to take advantage of this opportunity, I have to purposely save hw for the morning, which makes me nervous b/c I'm never completely sure whether or not I'll be able to finish it.
So unless I had an unbelievable amount of hw and simply couldnt do it, I usually end up just doing busy work hw or studying for later tests, during these classes. When I dont, I just sit there restlessly and feel like I'm wasting SO much time not doing or learning anything.

Last year was a lot better...I had bio in the morning, which I could sleep in, I had AP World after that, which was a fun class because we always went off on tangents (they always ended with an argument concerning shoes.), and the teacher was cool. Then I had art, which was fun because I love drawing. Then math, which was, last year, extremely easy, and I did homework in b/c she always gave us our hw worksheets int he beginning of class. Then English, which I did hw in, because we never learned anything anyways. And finally study hall...which was great...and then french, which has always been an extension of study hall.
basically, last year ROCKED.

haha we made s'mores in chemistry too lol. It was such a surprise for our class since our chem teacher is paranoid about people catching on fire lol.

let's all put the Pro in procrastination. =] I do used to hws the night before and I still do. -_-......oh well...=/

I'll tell you what NOT to do...and that is download 5 different poker servers and become addicted to them!

I gotta get my psych essays done before tomorrow or I won't be valedictorian! :(

I'm finding it pretty cool that so many 'smart' CCers do Procrastinate just as so many 'ordinary' friends I have!
Now, recently, I saw a new CCer w/ the name ProCrastinator.....I asked him/her to contribute to this thread.......hope s/he will soon get the messages!

I do my best work at the last second. If I do it early I overthink it. So for me procrastination is a good thing.

For me, when I work at the last second, it actually makes me to forget to include stuffs, so, I try NOT to do imp. stuffs at the very last minute (although most of the times end up doing imp stuffs at the last minute :()

Help? Why? After, all procrastination is a good thing! [Denial is even better...]

This whole semester [past 3 months or so] I haven't done my homework at home. I do all of my math homework before school starts [I get to school at about 6:50 and first period begins at 7:25, which is plenty of time to scribble down random answers]. If I feel like it, I'll do my World History homework before school as well. Otherwise, I'll stock up about three weeks of history homework and do all of it the day before it is due [homework is collected at the end of the unit]. All of my Earth Science homework is done during lunch [once again, I scribble down random, nonsensical definitions:

nonfoliated metamorphic rock - some type of [at this point, I look around the cafeteria for ideas] plastic lunch box located fdisgxbnolnjgjkl. [Time to move on to the next definition]

Anyway, my grades at the moment are all triple digits [27.3, 17.8, 41.9 ...].

CT, I ain't lucky enough to have that much free time in btw classes.......so it doesn't really work for me :( I rather accepted procrastination as an integral part of my life and try to avoid it when urgently necessary! after all, I claim myself to be the king of the procrastinators! (can't give u legal, proven as well as argumentative facts on this claim though! lol!!!)

Chaos, I don't understand those grades...so you are failing all classes? Like, you have a 17.8% in a class?

Yep. Those are my grades.

U gotta be kidding!

Hey, they're triple digits, so I'm good.

Procrastination begins with a P, as does pretty. So, by procrastinating, you are pretty.

Oh yeeah.

Procrastination begins with a P, as does poor. So, by procrastinating, you are poor.

Oh nooow!

(By the way, I just realized that I'm actually the OP! I found it funny how I forgot that I opened the thread so desperately, and now there definitely was reason for that! I was like, stuck to CC for Friday, Sat and Sun of that week and then I found myself infront of a hill of homeworks and tests, etc!)
