What can I say? I'm not as transparent as I seem. That, my friend, is the hook that will get me into Yale.

i am in total awe.

I love how everyone applying to the ivies are just like me - procrastinators who always end up sleeping late. ;)

Anyways here's my list:

Books: Song of Ice and Fire series by George R.R. Martin (I waited 2 years for the fourth book and ended up finishing it in 2 days when it came out :p); Dark Arena, Fools Die, Family, Godfather (all by Mario Puzo), Shogun by James Clavell, Neverwhere & American Gods by Neil Gaiman, Morning River & Coyote Summer by Michael Gear

Band/Music: Eagles, Whitesnake, Queen, The Killers, Bryan Adams, Gavin Degraw, Evanescence, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Tupac, Eminem, and various techno stuff.

TV Shows: Family Guy, History Channel

yes, george rr martin is sooo good.

and techno is completely underrated.

techo?

its fun to listen to but its got nothing compared to the best in rock.

yes, but how often do you see someone with a glowstick in their mouth at a rock concert?

and best in rock refers to...? :-)

whatever I like, obviously.

so youre into the whole...ecstacy induced glowstick fun at the techo clubs?

not my thing.

I'm not into ectasy induced glowstick antics. Frankly I just like the rapid beat and the whole frenetic feel of techno.

ames: I suggest Michael Buble - he'd be a nice easy listening alternative; a good transition from classical.

As for movies, I've never seen Back to the Future(s), Rocky(s), the Godfather(s), or any of the Terminator movies. My friends think that I'm a total failure...

no, I'm from Iowa and we don't have techno clubs. Or clubs in general. Glow sticks are interesting, kinda pretty.

And I'm by no means a techno fanatic. It just seems like a cool branch of music that kinda gets a bad rep.

And I'll look into Michael Buble, hillier, thanks!

OMG i might be completely out of it but... the fourth George R. R. Martin book is out??!!!!

AAhhh...! last time i checked in the bookstore it wasn't. how out of it am i? THAT's what i'm going to do to get my mind off the ticking clock...

Here's my list, dudes.
