Procrastination vs. academic success

8-9

GPA: 4.0UW; 4.1W (highest in both cases)

8.5
4.9x/5 (basically A's)
top 1% (don't know exact rank ><)

10 all the waayy

GPA: 97 UW
School doesn't rank.

Currently a Sophomore:
Procrastination: 11
GPA: 4.00 UW (rank 1 with a bunch of other people), 4.5-6 W (rank 1)

5

4.0 UW

I tend to not procrastinate at all on papers/projects, but on small assignments, yea......

I'm a 9.5 on the procrastination richter scale.
GPA: 3.9

10+, my assignments either get done AFTER theyre due because i realised i cannot take a Z, or they don't get done.

gpa 4.00 uw, 6.00 w
class rank 5/800

I'm a good 11+, as I don't ever open my textbook/hw/binder/school-related stuff at home. That means I have to do all my hw in between passing periods, or during that 5~7 minutes beginning of class while the teacher struggles to start the class, sometimes a couple of my friends will distract the teacher to buy more time for me; we take turns. Or I do it during...classtime and turn it in on another date, end of the period, etc.

For papers or something I do it at lunch sometimes if the topic is interesting, if not, I just don't do it.

And I'm with icoufoo in the due date thing - most of my assignments are due later than the date, when I have extra time in class.

Nothing of the "Oh I'm a 1~3am'er I'm so alpha" bs though, I'm never awake after 10pm unless for entertainment purposes on holidays, and usually I'm at bed by at least 9.

Oh, yes, GPA: I currently have like a 3.6ish? It went up from a 2.5 in a week, it's going back down soon.

Procrastination: 8 or 8.5
GPA: 3.85 UW 4.55 W (Probably going to drop once this semester's grade comes in- stupid Photography...)

Procrastination: 7-8

GPA: 4.23 W, 3.93 UW

Last year and the years before that, I started my homework around 9ish after playing a ton of video games. Now I'm trying to push it down to 6-7pm :D Although I just got Left 4 Dead, so it's not working to well so far...

i'm a 10.

GPA: 3.9+ UW

am on CC to procrastinate even more.

lol at the results so far, although it really is a poor sample

i'm around an 8.5-9
89% in mostly honors and AP's, 5th percentile of class

2.

Valedictorian of all four classes ('09 - '12). See how much more you can do when you don't procrastinate?

See, that's what's wrong with the public school system... the complete indoctrination of students that grades are actual, objective honors that you should base your life around.

I'll enjoy doing fulfilling things non-school related while pulling off the lowest 'A's possible so that I can get into Bowdoin, thank you very much.

Well Mr. Sassy-Mouth, I don't attend a public school, so ha.

And my grades are a representation of what I've l/earned (I'm so clever) - I don't reach for As. And gaining knowledge is fulfilling. Or at least, it's marginally useful.

10char

Procrastination: 10
GPA (or the rough equivalent of it): 3.84

I'm the kind of procrastinator that spends the first 95% of a time period given in a trance-like nonchalant state, and then explodes into a nuclear bomb of FREAKING-OUT last minute. I wish I could stop, but it's like a disease.

remember guys (and girls), being a procrastinator is not something to be proud of, and we should all be working to improve our study habits

Sorry, that is incorrect. Please try again.

(In high school)
Before CC took over my life: 8-9
After CC took over my life: 10.

What happened to that 6th grade me who always did homework right after school? Or when starting it after 4:00 PM was pretty late?

Top 2% of class (second to val. by .03 points), although my rank has probably fallen since I last checked.. unfortunately.

I started my summer assignments for 11th grade two days before school started. I had to read Uncle Tom's Cabin, write an essay about it, read a chapter of American Pageant (~30 pages) and take detailed notes. I finished at 3 AM the day school started.

4.28 GPA - 3.95 UW - Rank: Numero Uno
