<p>All of us who are still working on applications: this is the place to panic, commiserate, whine, or rejoice after you've finally hit the submit button (hopefully before 11:59!)</p>

<p>How much do you guys have left? Any regrets? Any offers of encouragement?</p>

<p>I personally have to do my activity pararaph, my main common app essay, a letter explaining a disciplinary infraction, and 3 supplements. I finished three supplements yesterday though, so I have hope that I will be able to get it all done by tomorrow and have a day to edit/reflect.</p>

<p>Three supplements to finish. And I need to decide which essay I am going to use for my main essay.</p>

<p>Speaking of regrets…I just found out that the envelopes that I gave one of my recommenders (he’s doing the paper recs) didn’t have enough postage on them. He sent them out back in November and he didn’t mention any problems sending them, but I’m really worried now at the last minute, and I can’t speak to my teacher until the 4th when I get back. Any suggestions? Should I just email the regional director for each school and check to see if they’ve received it?</p>

<p>I’ve got somewhere around 6 or 7 essays to finish in the next 4 days. I’m such an idiot. And yet I’m still on the stupid computer instead of working…</p>

<p>oh well, I’ll work through the night. I actually really like writing the essays, now that I’ve actuallly started. It’s fun.</p>

<p>oh, and i was never aware of the school forms section since i never did the signature thing, and because my school sends transcripts/letters of rec through Docufide…so i might not even be able to submit any apps because my school forms wont be sent in time!!</p>

Plus, I’m not completely sure if my main Common App. essay is alright :-\ I feel like it’s missing something or if it just sounds blahhh. Ahhhh ): I just can’t wait till this is all over. I’ll be happy once I hit that submit button and all I’d have to do is wait …</p>

<p>sooo yeah I’m kinda confused… if the deadline is 12/31 then does it have to be submitted at/before 11:59 TODAY? :smiley: I’m thinking yes</p>

<p>I was confused too! My deadline is January 3rd, but does that mean 11:59 PM on January 2nd, or does it mean 11:59 PM on January 3rd before the day ends? I still have to ask for my rank and we get back on the 3rd … So I was thinking of rushing home ASAP on Monday to fill that spot on the common application and send everything once and for all.</p>

<p>you have to have it submitted by 11:59 p.m. on 12/31</p>

<p>^ For a 12/31 deadline sure. If your deadline is 1/1, the most common deadline, you must submit by 11:59 on 1/1.</p>

<p>Holy…wow. I’m so glad my school forced us to complete our applications by November 12th. Makes life so much less stressful. I know I would have been on of you otherwise.</p>
