Proctor Ended Sat Ii 12 Min Early?? What Can I Do???

PROCTOR ENDED SAT II 12 MIN EARLY?? WHAT CAN I DO???

Basically, he ended my second SAT II test 12 minutes early!!!!! The students, including me, were trying to complain after he has collected the tes. But he couldn't give us extra time coz some ppl already left!!

What can i do about this???
i didn't finish my physics like 15 questions coz I didn't have the time i was supposed to have!!

That's pretty serious. I dunno what to tell you except make sure you get it figured out. Call collegeboard or anything to solve this problem.

wow! omg that terrible u have to call they'll probablly cancelling those scores and re-sechdual!

cancelling the scores??

I'm pretty sure I aced the chemistry test for the first hour.
probably 780 and up for sure.
Don't want them to cancel all scores :( :( :(

But I didn't finish physics because of the time!!

arr!

sue the collegeboard and the proctor...
tell them that you are emotionally hurt :)
make sure that they will not cancel your first exam. (tell them)

ya they have no right ur in a position where u can order them around!

wow...what kind of a 'dumb-ass not knowing how to tell the time' proctor did u have? proctor's have always been known to be imbisciles, but i've never heard of one that cant tell time....
i think u can get things worked out w/ CB especially since it happend to everyone that took the test..

yes my act procter cut off anywhere from 10-50 seconds off of every one of my act parts because she didnt look at the second hand on the clock, only the minute hand..... and i had a stop watch so i could tell and for some parts i didnt even get to fill in my extra unawnsered bubbles because that is what i had saved for the last minute

grrrrr stupid proctors

We had to find a digital watch for my AP US History protctor to use last year because she couldn't read the analog clock handing on the wall.

Jeez that sucks. I'm sorry. I'm sure if you and the others complain a lot to collegeboard about that specific proctor, they'll do something.

wow! i guess schools really do pick the dumbest teachers to be proctors..

report to collegeboard if u are absolutely sure

what the heck are u on the forums for? you should be calling cb right now

Report to College Board's 800-number ASAP. And have others in the room call too. You are in the power position now as someone else said, you have the leveraging capacity on them. Also, given the circumstances, I think you don't have to cancel ALL your scores--just like if your calculator malfunctions during say Math I, you needn't cancel your French scores too, or, if your CD player malfunctions in Spanish you don't have to cancel your USH scores too. They can do that. Only the test with the 12 minutes cut out should be cancelled.

If you don't want to call, send an email to sat@info.collegeboard.org.
The College Board will work WITH you on this. They don't want poor testing conditions affecting the credibility of their testing programs.

Why didn`t you tell the proctor at the test that it was 12 mins earlier? Maybe he/she mistook and would give u extra 5 mins to make up for it? or at least would give u the regular time?

If you see something wrong it is best to react right at the moment.

During my SAT I today, the lady stopped the time a few minutes early, too. Apparently nobody cared, since I was the only one that bothered to tell her. She then gave us the time. :)

If you need the scores now, don't complain. The same thing happened to my daughter in the October test. We called the minute she got home. The phone call wasn't posted until October 20th and we have to wait 15 business days until this is resolved. Meanwhile, they are holding up everybody's scores. One can pretty much guess the outcome - either accept the scores or take them again. If they cancel the scores, my daughter is completely screwed. Unfortunately it is too late.

i really know what you guys are talking about, someone's stupid *** phone's beep or alarm went off - it made me crazy because the person didn't take the phone out to stop it so it rang a couple times - _ -..but your case is worse then mine, i'd be really ****ed, some people are just really dumb!

That's horrible! I actually had a really nice proctor this time for SAT II, he was hilarious and gave us an extra 30-60 seconds for each section.
