prof question

If there are two lecture sections for a class and the professors teaching the class are x/y, does it mean that x teaches the first section and y teaches the second?

Not necessarily. It could mean that the choices between the instructors are pending and have not been set in stone yet.

What mme-lin said.

Give us a link to the registrar's site where you see that. Usually when two professors are both listed for the same section, it means that they each teach a part of the class. I know this has been the case for some of my friend's LS classes - one professor would teach the first 4-5 weeks, and the other would teach the rest of the class. Not sure how it worked out with exams and such, but thats how it was done.
