Dear CC Community,
For a scholarship (Thomas G. Labrecque Smart Start Program to be exact), I am required to both submit a “Personal Recommendation” and a “Professional Recommendation”. I only have two teacher recommendations and one GC recommendation. I have never worked as an intern or as an employee. Am I still able to apply for this scholarship program?
I would venture to guess that a teacher could easily be considered a “professional recommendation,” especially for someone who has never interned or employed.
Yes, the teachers are the ‘professional’ and someone like a friend, a minister, a coach could be a personal one.
