Professional School Questions

Hello,

I am a rising junior who has just decided to transfer to another college. I had a 4.0 during two years at my last college, and would like to eventually pursue a joint JD/MBA (if possible) degree.

  1. What GPA/GMAT/LSAT is expected of candidates who apply to both a University's law and business school?
  2. Depending on the program, would the business/law admissions committee consider both my previous GPA and whatever GPA I will receive at my current college?

Thank you!

  1. It will depend on the university you apply to.
  2. They will consider your entire college record.

@TomSrOfBoston Thanks Tom, and it’s fair to say that law school admissions are focused more on GPA/LSAT, and business school admissions are focused on work experience, GMAT, and where one went to undergrad?

@bradthegrad2019 - You would be better off posting your questions on the law school or business school forums.
