I'm interested in pursuing a degree in writing and have found that it goes under different names at Farmingdale State College: Professional Communications - Bachelor of Science (BS) and most of the online university labels it as "professional writing which combines a liberal arts education with rhetorical studies (BA) for the 21st century."

I'm not interested in creative writing but a course of study in writing , speaking, grammer , vocabulary, technical writing, proposal, speeches, grant writing, etc. Some suggested that I go in as a English major, but I do not feel that it would give me a broad range of courses.

Are there any schools that you know of , besides Farmingdale. Farmingdale has exactly what I'm looking for, however, there's no flexibility for a person like me that works full-time. Very unfamiliar with online university and do not know which ones are scams. Also, I'm a transferring student with an AAS degree. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
