<p>Many concentrations at Harvard (from biochemistry to Sanskrit) require multiple one-on-one tutorial courses in order to complete the degree. Every concentration requires small-group tutorials in the sophomore and junior years. Mine had 10 students, and I was in Psychology, one of the three biggest departments. I don't think you'll find many Ivy grads who agree that serious academic dialogue is hard to find.</p>
