My grades of winter quarter were released last week and I found I got a F in one of the classes (that class is neither major requirement nor IGETC). I sent an email to the corresponding professor immediately and his response was he gave me a wrong grade in error, I should have got an A for that class. But until now the grade on the online system is still a F, I sent another email to ask the professor about that and he replied that the change of grade takes time.
I wonder if UCs can see my grades of the winter quarter. Should I send email to UCs to explain this error with the email conversation between me and the professor attached? I am worried that this error would ruin my chance to be admitted by Berkeley or UCLA. Thank you for any reply, really appreciated!

If you haven’t told them your grade, they don’t know it. The only way they get your grades (at this point) are what you put in the application, and what’s on the transcript you send in later.

No, they won’t see your official winter grades until after you are admitted when you are asked to send your official transcripts. Only when looking at official transcripts will they be able to see all the grades you received. So, unless the grade change doesn’t change by the time you send transcripts if you are admitted, I wouldn’t worry about it at all.

Haa man he effed that one up. I would be so upset. As a teacher you really can’t mess up any worse than that lol…
But yeah you’re good, don’t worry about it.
