Professor messed up grade, and only now realizes/ changes it..

Well long story short my professor messed up a little and it turned out i got an A instead of a B in my math course. Any ideas what the best way would be for me to let the UC's know of this change since we cant do anymore updates.

Thanks!

messed up a little? A>B is a big difference.

let admissions know via email, written letter, or fax.

Some un-asked for advice: From your post, it sounds like the professor realized the mistake . . . I’m surprised you didn’t notice it! You should always have a good idea of where you stand, and you should always check your grade after the semester ends because this happens more often that you’d think. Sometimes it’s just a typo, sometimes it’s because the prof forgot to enter something into a spreadsheet, sometimes he adds wrong. Always double check!

If I misread the situation, my apologies!

mypinkfriday is right. You should send each individual UC that you applied to a letter/email/fax. Most schools accept changes through their myApplication systems. Here’s a link that should help:

thanks for the quick responses, yea it was his mistake cause i did the calculations he jsut took forever to double check. I have now contacted all campuses and let them know of my 4.0  hahaha thanks guys!
