At my old school many students used the website ratemyprofessors.com to express their opinions on teachers, and I have found it helpful to check the ratings of professors whose classes I am about to take. Cal has a section on the same website, but considering how many people attend Cal, the number of comments is hardly anything. Is there another website where I can get more information about students' perspectives on teachers, or are such services frowned upon at Berkeley?

tbp.berkeley.edu for classes engineers might take (including humanities)

Nothing tops http://hkn.berkeley.edu/student/CourseSurvey/ (HKN is the EECS Honors Society) for EECS ratings and information.

For example: http://hkn.berkeley.edu/student/CourseSurvey/courses/CS/150/2006_Fall/
