Profile Evaluation

Hi,

I am an international applicant from India. Just completed my MBA from a top 15 b-school in my country and bagged a job at one of the biggest US based I-bank (Job location is in India) in the Asset Management domain. Looking at the Career Progression Part and my interests, I want to do a dual MBA from a premier global b-school (top 10-20) sometime in the next 2-3 years.

My Profile is as follows:

MBA : Finance and Strategy Major from a top 15 b-school
CGPA - 6.7 (Decent enough in my institute but not very stellar- topper has 8.1)
Job - Asset Management in a very renowned I-bank (Joining from May 2013, Sorry cannot name it - confidentiality issues)
Awards : Won 3-4 National Level Finance Competitions, Published a few articles on websites and college magazines

Prior To MBA:
Engineering from an unknown and not-that-great institute. Nothing to boast about in terms of grades ( Wasn't very serious in life back then ).
Worked for 15 months in couple of Instrumentation Companies as a sales engineer before enrolling for MBA.

I have also been volunteering with a few NGOs in my spare time and am an avid blogger.

I just wanted to understand which kind of schools to target and how to go about building and refining my profile in the next couple of years so as to increase my chances of getting there.

PS : Apologies if I spammed. I scanned the forum for a relevant thread but could not find it. Hence, created a new thread. Perhaps others with similar questions can post on this thread only so that we have a repository of doubts and relevant opinions.

Cheers
