Question SD115A - asks how much your parents paid/will pay towards your college in 2011-12. Should I include $ that we took out of a 529 plan and Prepaid tuition plan and used to pay? We are owners of both, daughter is beneficiary. It is money we paid, obviously, but it is money that we had saved, not from current income. Don't know if that matters...not sure why this question is even being asked! Also, the question that asks how much do you think your parents can pay for 2012-2013...the college knows how much we've paid for her freshman year, so they now think we are capable of paying that every year, correct? So would it do us any good by putting a lower, more reasonable $ amount!? Thanks!
