<p>My husband and are confused about Profile pins.</p>
<p>My daughter has a pin from college board for the SATS.
So we assume that she continues to use this pin for profile.</p>
<p>But are unclear about whether we (the parents) also need a pin and an account for the profile. The site says "do not create more than one account," so we do not want to create another one if this is the incorrect thing to do.</p>
<p>There is only one set of parents and my husband is self-employed. </p>
<p>Any help you can provide would be most appreciated.</p>

<p>I got my answer from college board. I've pasted it below in order to share this information with you --</p>
<p>**You can use the student's user name and password account or you can establish your own for the purpose of accessing the PROFILE. The only difference in using the student's account versus creating your own, is that, if you use his/her account, he/she will have access to all of the financial information in the PROFILE Application since the user
name/password is your secure access to your PROFILE data.</p>
<p>If you create your own user name account, the PROFILE schools you list on the Registration will receive the Financial Report once you submit the Application. The student's Financial Report will be identified by the institutions from the student's Social Security Number which you will list on the PROFILE Registration.</p>
<p>For your assistance, follow the instructions below to create your own College Board user name/password account:</p>

<li><p>Go to <a href="http://www.collegeboard.com%5B/url%5D">www.collegeboard.com</a>, then click on For Students </p></li>
<li><p>Click on "CSS/PROFILE", which is located under PAY FOR COLLEGE </p></li>
<li><p>Click on "PROFILE 2007-2008" (green link in center of page)</p></li>
<li><p>Sign in with your user name and password (if you do not have a username and password, click on "sign up" at the bottom right of the page and follow the directions to establish them)</p></li>
<li><p>Finally, click Register For PROFILE (located at the top left of the PROFILE Home page) to access and complete your online PROFILE Registration/Application</p></li>
