So, for us Juniors that will be applying next year, it would be great if accepted students could post their stats on this thread so we can get an idea of where we stand? It'd be awesomely helpful as I have no idea what UVA is thinking, well for the most part. Thanks and congratulations seniors of 2010!!!!

People will, as they always do lol, but with decisions 3 weeks away and without a posted format, this will probably not be the place where we post our stats.

Just wait, they’ll be up soon enough ^^
You’ve still got 13 months left, don’t worry much about this year’s stats. Your year will be different than our year, as our year is different from last year. If you want your own real chances, go to **************. I’m always on there plugging numbers, and while it is overly focused on quantitative data, it is helpful to roughly gauge your chances.

Good luck next year!

is it april 1st already?

And as a side note, to juniors looking for the stats right now, these are all going to be based on people who received “likely letters” or other forms of earlier notification, meaning they probably really stood out against the rest for one reason or another, therefore the results of this thread may be heavily skewed. Also, I’d suggest not looking too deeply into the results posted on CC because the CC community tends to be filled with the very top applicants, making the applicant pool seem a lot more competitive than it may actually be. I mean, the applicant pool is still competitive regardless, but, not “everyone has a 2300+ and 4.0” competitive.

^^ I’m assuming you received a likely letter?

I received the same thing that gc414 got.

I did receive a likely letter today. So while not set in stone, you may assume that I was “accepted.”

^ Congratulations sillyaardvark, is UVA your top choice?

And bump:) I don’t want this thread to go into the abyss!
