Take what people say about there stats on here with a grain of salt - while there surely are a number of outstanding students on this site, people on here aren’t always honest about their stats and even if they are, this site only represents a small, small percent of the applicant pool.

That being said, I have a 1860 SAT and 3.43 unweighted GPA. Not phenomenal at all, but I got in! I also take a fair amount of AP and honors classes and participate in a decent amount of extra curriculars.

I agree with Cliche. Although gpa/act/sat are important factors to take into account when evaluating an applicant, there are many other things to consider. I was accepted EA with a 3.0 gpa and a 26 ACT score. Although my “stats” aren’t very impressive, my essay was (in my opinion) very well written and my father is an alumni. The extracurriculars I listed were track, community service, and occasional babysitting.
