Program of Liberal Studies and Peace Studies

So i am applying to transfer to ND this winter and i am really interested in PLS and Peace Studies. I want to go business or maybe poli sci but going PLS wont limit me to just a single field of study - plus i can easily minor in a lot of other thing in conjunction to PLS. Is it difficult to transfer into PLS over other majors. i mean i know the transfer process is difficult in general - applied last year 3.8, 27 act, extra curric - legacy - etc etc - all as a transfer and was denied. not that i am fishing for majors most accessible to transfers but as i started this year i was researching some of the majors which ND has in A&L and i really liked them. Any ideas?

The Program of Liberal Studies is a three-year sequence of courses. Are you applying to transfer in your sophomore year?

yes i am. second semester sophomore. but i am considering if need be to take summer courses or double up. is it doing me a disservice to apply into the PLS program?

I was really anticipating going to ND last year, but unfortunately it was not the plan laid out... I am looking at Umich too and their poli sci program but overall as a foundation for law, and from what i have read and heard from alumni - the PLS program is very beneficial over a straight degree through Mendoza or A&L. Not that mendoza is bad by any means, i would love to be in there, but i am looking for a jd/mba after undergrad and i have really enjoyed what i have heard about the PLS program.
