Programming TI 89 Is it allowed?

Some companies sell TI programms( about 20 in Math, also store the words and meannigs) and claim that it improves the score by 90 points and the programs are $39. First of all is this stroing of these programs are allowed? and if allowed is it worth it? Does anyone know about this claim?

I don't know if it's worth it--I haven't tried them. I know for sure that you are allowed to store things on your calculator during the test. They don't clear your memory or anything.

It's allowed. It's up to you to decide if it's worth the money and trouble.

ok first of all it IS allowed

Second of all
WHY would you pay 39$$ for a CALCUALTOR Program i mean Ti-89 could already raise ur score by like 100-200 points without any programs and if u need programs u can just download them for free. from a website like ticalc.org which is one of the best websites (actually it IS the best) for calc progs

mathproblems...............ehhhhh wow................listen genius ................. how do i say this................................WHEN YOUR TAKING THE SAT'S KNOW ONE WILL CARE TO CHECK!.......................dont ask us ask the test supervisor.

no one bothers to check what you have on your calculator.. but seriously.. programs slow you down more than anything. if you have the time to be famliarizing yourself with the 932823048 programs on your calculator.. learn how to do the questions instead.

I did SAT I and II with a scientific calc and there was like 1 question on iic I really needed to turn on my graphing for.

Can anyone find proof that its allowed from some sort of official source?
