I'm a Senior, and wondering if anyone has any ideas about what I could do this summer after I graduate. All the previous years I took classes during the summers so that I wouldn't get restless/bored. Is there anything for high school graduates, though? This seems to be a neglected topic, perhaps because such programs aren't relevant to applications.

I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to take summer classes at a community college, that would probably work. I know that Clark’s is a program open to seniors, and its application deadline is in March. It sounds like a really great program: they can set you up to do any kind of research you want, and it gives you a $750 stipend. The only drawback is that it’s seven weeks long, so you won’t be able to work or travel very much (if those are things you want to do this summer).
