I have received acceptance to Princeton a few days ago, and I am starting to think about what I should major in there.
What are some of the strongest programs at Princeton?
I want to study either sciences or engineering, but I am not entirely sure about anything yet :S.

Your major shouldn't be based on what Princeton is strongest in, but about what you find most interesting and appealing. Princeton's programs are all strong enough for the difference to be inconsequential. I'd suggest you try out a few classes frrom each discipline in your freshman year and chat with some faculty about it. That will help you more than any number of posts here.

Well if you want to be a pre-med, Princeton is arguably the best place in the country to be. Really strong areas are Ecology/Evolutionary Biology (where roughly 1/3 of the graduates go to med/vet school afterwards), which is a small department, to the usual big boys like Chemistry and Molecular Biology.

Princeton also has a spectacular integrated science program, which blows away what MIT can offer in that regard, but you need to apply to that and it is very intense (only accepts 20 students, only 1/2 finish). You can drop from it at any point though and it is not a big deal.

And, of course, the engineering department is also one of the best in the country, so I am sure you can find interesting majors there (if you are not the bridge-building type there are plenty of alternatives!)

I actually am in the class of 2011 like you are so you should ask people about the individual programs, but I have talked to faculty members/other students in addition to reading about the departments on the website (which is a good place to start, as it has lots of useful info.)

Integrated science accepts far more than 20 students, but not many finish the program. You have to apply, but they haven't rejected anyone yet, to my knowledge
