The rejections are starting to roll in, and I’m just wondering if there are programs out there that are accepting video auditions still whether it be a BFA or BA. Can be musical theatre, acting, or theatre. Leave comments below. Thank you so much!
Someone mentioned that Cornish College of the Arts is still accepting video submissions. I think Adelphi might be too (but check). In a previous year, someone applied to Nebraska Wesleyan in late February/early March and got in.
No audition required BA theatre Drew University
Not sure about video auditions but Lipscomb University (small private college) has auditions at SETC and another round of auditions on campus. MT BFA and Acting BFA. PM me if you want to, my D is a freshman there.
My daughter ended up missing her UArts audition (she had the flu) and they emailed recently to ask if she wanted to submit a video audition (since we live in Cali and it’s in Philly). So that could be an option- though I’d imagine the general application deadline is far gone by now?
Not at all @proudcalidad UARTS still has on campus auditions through this month, so send in that video. Best of luck to you in this process!!
Thanks, @theatremom10 – she’s gotten into 2 of the schools she has “higher” on her internal list, so she’s decided to withdraw her UArts app. I just wanted the OP to know that there was a video option at UArts, at least as far as I knew.
