I'm applying ED to one school and EA to a few others. I sent in my transcripts to all the schools today, but just realized that it has a list of my senior year schedule and my progress report grades on them. Unfortunately, I had a bad grade on the progress report, but have since raised it a full grade level. Will they hold the grade against me? If they are going to, how can I let them know that the grade has since went up. My school's next grading quarter ends Nov.3, after my Nov.1 deadline!

I'm not sure if this will work, but I would have your teacher send your current grade in the class somewhere close to Nov. 1st, and send in this new and improved grade, postmarked before Nov. 1st. But that's just me...

Just have your teacher give the new grade, sign it or something, and give that grade to your guidance counselor. That should be sufficient.

can you apply EA and ED?

You cannot do both.

Yes you can. Only a few schools don't allow it. Thank you for your input though.
