<p>My friend was rejected from Stanford EA. Gah now I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY WANT TO KNOW</p>
<p>i was sitting right next to my friend when she opened up her wellesley rejection :,( it was really harsh 'cause it said āsince we expect the regular decision applicant pool to be just as competitive, we think itās fair to inform you you wonāt be accepted in april.ā</p>

<p>Apparently the Columbia rejection letter was pretty much dissing itself by saying that people who donāt get into Columbia are still very successful. 
I kind of want to read that letter.</p>
<p>I DONāT WANT TO GET REJECTED, give me an acceptanceā¦ AT THE VERY LEAST a deferral. does anyone know anyone who got straight rejected for ED to pomona in previous years?</p>
<p>I donāt think youāll be rejected. I donāt know what your stats are but your enthusiasm for Pomona probably shows through on your app. Or if the admissions officers are reading this, then yeah. But no, I donāt know anyone who got flat-out rejected mostly because I havenāt looked into previous yearsā threads.</p>
<p>Yeah, all of my friends are basically annoyed at me because its all Iāve been talking about for the past couple of months -_- But everybody on CC is enthusiastic and passionate! :D</p>
<p>Iāve been fortunate to have a friend also applying ED to Pomona, so we freak out together haha But seriously the rest of my friends want to kill me, and one of them is more of a frenemy and she always looks at me with this like āare you seriously trying to be accepted thereā look. I hope I get in if only so I can shove it in her face for always giving me condescending stares. hahaha My dad said he hopes Iām accepted so he doesnāt have to go through this whole waiting for acceptance thing again in a few months.</p>

<p>First post on cc I think! Anyway Iāve been reading all the Pomona threads since summer started haha. Iām so excited/nervous, I applied ED1 and have been going through pretty much everything you guys have been. Iām from San Diego too tamtastic! (:</p>

<p>OH, and firelily, also if we both end up at Pomona we could arrange ride situations 'cause I hate going down from Claremont to San Diego on the Greyhound at nightā¦ Itās SO scary. I had to do it when I interviewed and we had a 2 hour layover in East LAā¦ not fun.</p>

Tamtastic I totally agree with you, carpooling would be amazing! Iāve only been up to Pomona once (for my interview too haha) but luckily I was able to find a ride. Thatād be so cool, Iām crossing my fingers for everyone on here to be accepted. LESS THAN ONE WEEK!! aggghhh haha I havenāt been able to study or do anything today, my mindās been consumed with Pomona. Hopefully we can both rep SD tho ;)</p>

There are about 14 people at my school applying, but I think Iām the only ED. Itād be so cool if we all got accepted, we can look back on it when weāre actually there as students. <p>Iām sure it will! Yeah my school is crazy competitive, last year 22 applied to Pomona but only 3 were accepted, and they were all really good applicants.
