Project Runway 2023

Just watched the the inside-out episode and came here. I can’t believe nobody has posted!

I felt like Laurence did not complete the challenge (but feel like that sometimes the judges seem to let that slide with contestants).

I wonder if things look really different in person?? I did not like Kara Saun’s white outfit, but the judges all raved about it.

I wish Prajje’s model had worn the jacket part way down the runway.

Rami finally had his “moment” (Christian said he needed one). And I thought Anna’s dress looked well done and expensive. Hers and Rami’s looked like they could have just come out of a store. Maybe black looks better on tv?

I thought Brittany would be in the top - I felt like she and Rami really completed the challenge.

Bishme’s shoulders - I felt like they took away from the outfit. Does Mimi not rock every outfit?!

Korto’s outfit was underwhelming - the skirt was cool but one judge made it sound like that it was the fabric, nothing she did particularly well. But I knew they would not eliminate her.

I am glad Rami was in the top— he needed a boost of confidence. I also thought Brittany should have been in the top. Her outfit looked so well made. I did not care for Kara Saun’s outfit and did not like Korto’s either. Korto’s first outfit looked better before she scrapped it with the final look. I don’t care for her personality. She has too much of an attitude, imo. Anna’s was good, if not “safe” looking and I agree about Bishme’s shoulders. One time is too many! I really like Fabio, but his outfits have just been underwhelming or “out there” this season.

I thought it was distracting that Anna took off her top, but the cameras only stayed on that a minute.
I do like Korto, except when she was so negative towards Anna. I think I know the few winners.

I’m delayed on my tv watching and just watched this last night.

Fabio was my favorite, so sad to see him go. I don’t know that I can say his designs always outshine, but I just love HIM so much! I do think the are/were hard on him and his aesthetic. Now that he designs for himself - not PR - he doesn’t fit their wheelhouse very well.

I was pretty underwhelmed with most of these designs. I did like Brittany’s. Honestly any of the bottom 3 could have gone - and those were 3 pretty mighty players.

Korto to me is just someone with a real hard edge. I wonder if she “softens” with anyone. In seeking to “belong” I feel she ends up sort of isolating herself.

Anna isn’t the best designer there but she does make me laugh. I love how her baby has changed her life and view. LOL on the nipple talk!!

At the start of the show, I didn’t think I was going to like this episode. However, it ended up being very interesting and a testament to why I do not have a creative/artistic gene! I really enjoy these “equalized” challenges because their creativity really shines. I think so many did well this challenge. I was in total agreement with the top 3. I was not a fan of Prajee’s outfit (I really dislike peplum) and the extra pattern on the shoulder was distracting. But Kara Saun’s outfit was perhaps even worse for me. I wasn’t too much a fan of Laurence’s outfit either. She keeps on doing these bomber jackets. Anna’s was a little out there as well. I wonder what Anna will feel when she sees herself on tv heavily flirting with that guy.

I wonder what Anna’s husband will think when he sees the flirting?

“I’m divorced for 2 days” - Anna as she shamelessly flirts :face_with_peeking_eye:

Overall I liked the episode, thought the right uniform won. Thought it was about time the losing uniform designer was sent home - felt that was long coming. I didn’t really mind any of the other uniforms.

My top three - Bishme, Rami, and Brittany - were the top 3! I am glad Bishme won!

Kara Saun’s look on Mzi looked cool…but too cool and not work-like/a uniform.

I think I would be concerned about my safety if I got on that boat and captain Jason came out in a kimono! I agree that he didn’t look authoritative enough.

Captain Sandy? Just no.

Laurance - leather on a boat? And…another jacket.

Anna’s flirting? I think there was a little karma on the runway.

I haven’t said, “Who are these people?!?” so many times since the Real Housewives episode last season.:rofl::rofl: And considering I watch Dancing with the Stars, that’s saying a lot. I’m clearly not the Bravo demographic.

I don’t think Bravo used to be completely reality TV. I do watch Project Runway and Top Chef but feel like it really went downhill, devolving into Real Housewives/people behaving badly shows.

I still watch Watch What Happens Live, but only when there are non-Bravo guests. Which means I watch one episode a week in average . And with the strike, it’s been zero episodes a week

How did I totally miss this flirting? I just finished watching and I have no idea when the flirting was!

Two words: tequila shots

When the Project Runway contestants went for drinks with the Below Deck “models” Anna and Gary were flirting. A few shots too many it sèems.

Lol I discovered tonight that I am one behind in episodes! That is why I couldn’t figure out what you guys were taking about with Below The Deck and Anna!
I just watched that tonight so I guess I have one more to catch up on!

No idea how I got behind!

I watched the “freedom” episode last night and agree with the winning outfit and the the losing outfit (although I think the designer who went home seems like a lovely person!)

Ok, so I actually loved this episode! Watching what the designers would make if they had the “freedom” to make anything! First I have to agree with Korto that judging was way off, because the judges were criticizing the “fashion” aspects of someone’s designs, but this wasn’t a “fashion” challenge per se, it was actually a “show us who you are as a designer” challenge, and for me, that meant that Prajje actually lost the challenge, as they have shown us that they’re a high-end ‘street wear’ designer, and truly nothing about that garment was street. Whereas Kara-Saun stayed true to her ‘costume design’ - and the dress under the jacket was actually stunning.

Ok, now for the looks I adored…I thought Korto’s “robe” was breathtaking, right down to the color chosen…so unexpected. Rami’s was lovely, but expected, so I didn’t think it was worth the win. I wasn’t a fan of Brittany’s, and I was surprised the judges didn’t call out the obvious bra-top copycatting. I thought Bishme’s was another unexpected and beautiful piece, worthy of a win. Laurence again blew my mind.

The next elimination is going to really sting, unless it’s Brittany, I appreciate her athletic esthetic, but she is going to really need to bring the heat if she expects to (openly) show in the finale.

I’m never a fan of Brittany. I just don’t find her stuff that interesting, and I’m not a fan of topstitching.

NOW I’m caught up. Any of those too 3 deserved that win. Honestly one of the top-est top weeks!

I’m sorry to see Cara Sun (do not know how she spells it!) go - her costumes will never catch the eye if of the judges in the same way. Her non profit is amazing. And after all season of her talking about her mom - I don’t know if I missed that detail but I didn’t realize that she had died! She is a wonderful person.
