I agree with the winning team and thought that they collaborated well, unlike Bones and Aaron. Interesting that Bones was a physics major but I think anyone could see the collar was not going to stand up.
Once again, I am in total agreement with the winner and bottoms this week although I
not sure it warranted a double elimination.
One thing I really like about this season - less screen time on hair and makeup. I get the product placement, but I learned more than enough from past seasons on creating a smoky eye and setting a high pony to last a lifetime.
So, I just stumbled on this thread. What fun. My son and I binged watched Project Runway during Covid lock down. He is at college now so I am watching it by myself:( although I may watch this season again just to hang with him during break. Does anyone else miss Zac Posen?
I loved the top outfits. All of them were winners. My fav was the white one with the sneakers.
I disliked most of the bottom outfits and any of them could have been eliminated (I liked the naked ladies one). The sparkly outfit did not fit the challenge, and I didnât like it that much as a âNightlifeâ outfit either. Love the designer, not the outfit this week.
I think itâs a good season. I think there is a lot of talent with this group. At this point I canât really pick 1 or 2 real standouts who Iâd peg for winning.
Not me! Zac was very âhandsyâ with the models, to the point of it being uncomfortable. He is not liked in the industry in general and other than his verbal critiques he isnât missed by me at all.
(SPOILERS) I very much liked the all white outfit except the length of the overcoat - I cannot think of one place that it wouldnât instantly be filthy from just walking around (including in most homes), and that does not equal comfort to me. The winning look was fun, and I was happy for it. Those on the bottom, well, yes, they deserved to be there, but I will miss Zayden . Octavio was on my âto watchâ right from the start, but boy he was a major disappointment overall. To me, the ânaked womenâ outfit was the most relatable, as far as wearability. But it still felt a bit dowdy to me. And oy, please do not get me started on the sequined look - what the heck was that?
I agree about the naked women outfit. The actual design was rather boring and ordinary and would have been even more so if not for the âshockâ of the print. Had the designer actually created the fabric, rather than simply stumbling upon it at Mood, I may have felt differently.
Wow, I did not see the double-elimination coming but based on what the eliminated designers sent down the runway this week agree with the judges. There were a few other questionable designs like the sequined, Shantall-dubbed âwalk of shameâ outfitââitâs not where sheâs going but where sheâs coming fromâ.
Loved seeing Geoffrey and Cyndi this week. It was great seeing a confident Geoffrey offering advice to the designers.
I think Chastity has been the most consistent designer throughout the competition so far and am looking forward to watching her going forward.
Last week was the unconventional challenge, always one of my favorite weeks! The winning look was STUNNING and so unbelievable that it was straws! I love her.
I had to look up who left because I was watching on my Bravo app and it cut off just as they were announcing who was leaving! So didnât see any previews for the next episode.
We have lots of women left. Hereâs who is left:
Aaron Michael
Anna Yinan Zhou
Chasity Sereal
Kristina Kharlashkina
Bones Jones
Coral Castillo
Shantall Lacayo
I think Iâm partial to Kristina and Shantall. I enjoy Bones personality but think the others have outshined him. Aaron is too arrogant for me and while that is not the premise of picking a winner I prefer not to see him win!
I agree. That dress was stunning. A well-deserved win
For weeks, I thought Aaron Michael was his first name, like Seth Aaron Henderson. Nope, it turns out itâs like the Marlo Thomas character from That Girl.
Bones Jones - canât blame his mother for that; his birth name is Brian.
Chasity Sereal - no offense, but this sounds like a contestant name on RuPaulâs Drag Race.
I donât have a great memory. All I can remember specifically about Anna is her love for âDaddyâ. I know she has been mentioned on this thread as a favorite. What challenge did she win??
She won the Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir challenge.
I agree she is flying under the radar on what we see, which I blame on the edit; Sheâs a good designer (excepting this week), but has no drama. And letâs be real- Bravo viewers want drama, which is why the schedule is all Real Housewives / Million Dollar Listing / Below Deck. And no, I watch none of those shows. The only other Bravo show I watch is Watch What Happens Live. And even then, only if none of the guests are Real Housewives, etc. Which means I can only watch 2 episodes a month.
I need to say it, Chasityâs look for the unconventional materials challenge looked like it had been in a massacre with feminine hygiene products. It was so god awful. Sheâs âluckyâ she didnât get sent home. I actually think itâs Chasity ftw.
Anna has had some amazing looks (especially the first couple of challenges) but theyâve been fading fast in my eye. I did not even think her look this week was worthy of her name attached to it.
I love Shantall, not so much her designs but the person weâre getting to see.
Iâm not positive but I think that the final 6 all show at NY Fashion Week, as decoys. I think thatâs why the âsafeâ contenders this week were so emotional -
