Seriously, what is it?

I've heard everything from 10% to 23% on this forum.

WHAT IS GOING ON!?!?!?

Are they enlarging the class size?

Assuming that the class size stays the same, it’s going to be around 12% for Regular Decision.

didn’t they accept more EA students than usual though???

would that imply they might accept more RD applicants (say, 100 more than usual)

^ likely, but we can’t say for sure. They may have accepted more students EA because more applied then. But if so, yeah, more students from RD are in.

Since the number of applicants rose for many schools, the number of cross-admits probably rose as well. Thus, since the predicted enrollment rate is lower, the number admitted may be higher than in past years. As altruition says, we don’t really know.
